We headed out this morning to tour the outer limits of OK City. Our first stop was for gas..
heard on the TV that the lowest was $2.94 but not sure where..
We went to Tinker AFB, well actually we did not go into the Base but just outside of it is an airpark.

We spent about 2 hours in the museum. we actually walked kind of quickly through it. could have spent another hour. All of the item were beautiful and very well laid out. recommend a visit if you are in town.

the restaurant has been in business for over 100 years..
we both got the T-Bone Steak
The Steak was fabulous! the potato, veggies and dinner roll was very very good.. this could be a repeat..
Stopped at a casino for about 45 minutes. lost $20... was hoping to make a few bucks!
You have seen a lot more than we did in our only visit to Oklahoma City. We, too, saw the Memorial (very moving) and the Cowboy Museum. You two really know how to see everything between Wisconsin and Santa Ana!
ReplyDeleteCarol, we try to see as much as we can in our limited time in each area. it does take a lot of planning, internet searches and lots of brochures.. most times we do pretty good but other times we really bomb out..
