Norman and Noble, Ok

it was Laundry day again..  I had trouble figuring out the which was the dryer and which was the washer!  I really am not good at Laundromats..  Last time I put my money in someone else's dryer...  Oh well... another job done..

Norman is the birthplace of James Gardner.. sorry for the blurry picture..  did not look at it after I took it..

Norman is home to the University of Oklahoma.   we went south a few miles to Noble to the

Of course I had to get one for the sauna..  not this big..

next it is lunch time...

we split a chicken wing basket with fries.  they were ok.. kind of like Buffalo Wild Wings.

went back to the park, there is a nature center right near our camper.  It was kind of small but very interesting.  then it was time for one last hike around the park.

we are assuming this is a tornado siren??

we have seen a few of these around and I think we are in tornado alley..  we are glad we have not heard one go off...

on the beach... beautiful day

can you tell this is an old truck?  looks like dinosaur bones.. we are assuming that when they put the dam in they flooded the area and whatever was there was underwater.  the water level looks to be pretty low.

Eric was in charge of dinner..  Ham steak, corn and potatoes (from our garden).  He did a fine job.

we are heading to Texas tomorrow.  we are changing our plans again.. will be just south of Dallas/Fort Worth in Cedar Hill State Park.
