Christmas Lights, etc

Today was a get the truck in for a checkup day.  Eric did that while I stayed home to clean etc..  We went to Hidalgo for the Festival of Lights after a pizza dinner.

Looks like the mining (3M) sponsored a trolley!  Of course we had to ride that one!  and the best part was they were handing out Scotch Brite sponges! 

the trolley ride lasted about 40 minutes, most of the lights we seen last year but there were a few new ones. (or at least we did not remember them from last year.)

they have music every night, tonight was Estudiantina Guadalupana The Childrens Choir El Perote Veracruz, MX. a boys choir from Mexico.  They were very very good.  Looked like they were having fun and loved to entertain.

great night with beautiful weather and fantastic lights.

Filled up the gas tank for $2.85 a gallon... went to Verison to try and fix my Wi Fi..  not sure if I don't need to go back, lunch at Poncho's (very good) then grocery shopping..

went for a 16 mile bike ride near the state park in Mission.  visited the park too..  seen some wildlife..

both were very good..

a night of listening to WOJB from Reserve Wisconsin..  bluegrass and Honky Tonk..


Sunday was a lazy day, went to the flea market..  did not purchase anything.  seen a few things for home in Wis.  maybe next time.  temp is high with high humidity makes it really lazy.

watched the Packers beat the Bears!!   turned out to be a wonderful Sunday...
